The mission of Ojas Oasis is to help listeners cultivate, nourish, and protect their Ojas— their immunity and inner peace.

The podcast is dedicated to creating a positive impact by teaching how to integrate the tools of Yoga and Ayurveda- the “science of life” - into a fast-paced world shaped by ever-evolving technology.

Each week, Sasha is joined by fellow practitioners— teachers, students, entrepreneurs, and healers — who integrate Ayurvedic and Vedic wisdom into their personal and professional lives. Erin- a friend of Sasha’s since they studied Yoga together in 2016- also often joins Sasha on the podcast to discuss Vedic philosophy and the application of this ancient wisdom in their modern lives.

Through these meaningful conversations and deep explorations, Ojas Oasis offers a sanctuary for those seeking balance, connection, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Sasha Bershadsky is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, founder of Ojas Oasis and host of the Ojas Oasis podcast.

She graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Communications Design. Sasha completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2016 while working as an Art Director in New York City. It was there that she first heard about Ayurveda, and the rest is history.

Sasha received her Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist certification at the California College of Ayurveda in 2021. She is currently in her final year of the Ayurvedic Doctor program at Kerala Ayurveda Academy, working remotely with health seekers around the world.

Erin and Sasha have been friends since they met during Yoga Teacher Training in New York in 2016. After graduation, Sasha moved to California to study Ayurveda and pursue her dharma of becoming an Ayurvedic Doctor.

During this journey, Erin became one of her patients and experienced firsthand the transformative power of not only Ayurveda, but in Sasha’s teaching of it. Sasha’s gift for teaching- her dedication, her curiosity, her compassion- is something special, and Erin knew Sasha could really help a lot of people, if she just had the platform to do it. And so, she floated the idea of starting a podcast. Sasha’s response was an enthusiastic “Yes!” quickly followed by “...but how?!” From there, they jumped in together, learning the ropes as they went.

Now, six seasons later, Erin and Sasha are still co-hosting the podcast, with Kula handling all aspects of technical production and distribution. We have an episode dedicated to the “Sankalpa,” or intentions and process for creating the podcast, if you’d like to hear the longer story.
